The Max Planck Society showcases cutting-edge science and research.
A new Science Tunnel is set to be launched in October 2012 under the motto of "Creating knowledge – Shaping the future". Spanning eight chapters, The Universe, Matter, Life, Complexity, The Brain, Health, Energy and Society, the exhibition offers a panoramic view of cutting-edge research today, combined with a look ahead at possible future developments. Exhibition partners include companies like Siemens and Volkswagen, the Donors’ Association for the Promotion of the Sciences and the Humanities in Germany, and the Federal Foreign Office.

In total, 59 large-sized images with subjects from a wide range of research fields are available. In 2012 and 2013, 40 selected images are on display at Goethe Institute's galleries in Russia.
