Representative Office for Latin America
Latin America is a research region whose vitality and achievement potential is steadily increasing, and therefore of great scientific interest for the Max Planck institutes. The representative office is tasked with:
- improving the general level of awareness of the MPG and its institutes in Latin America as a whole, and heightening the visibility of the MPG,
- supporting the institutes of the Max Planck Society in intensifying the exchange of scientists,
- and acting as an intermediary in assisting the institutes to develop existing and establish new joint cooperative undertakings.
