Dioscuri goes Czech Republic
Up to five Dioscuri Centres to be established in the next few years

A virtual signature, which will create new connections: Max Planck President Martin Stratmann and Robert Plaga, the Czech Minister of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on 2 September 2021. This marks the start of the joint, person-centred Dioscuri Programme in the Czech Republic. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the signing took place virtually. Through the innovative format of the new Dioscuri Centres of Scientific Excellence, the Max-Planck-Society plans to promote the development and expansion of scientific excellence in Central and Eastern Europe.
