Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Harvard University (1990). Postdoc at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston). Assistant Professor at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in 1995, Associate Professor in 2000, Full Professor in 2003.
