A bonus as a final salary

Having completed your training means you have taken the step into professional life. At the Max Planck Society, there is something else associated with this: Anyone who has completed their training period in the General Administration or at a Max Planck Institute or are about to complete it can be nominated for the Trainee Award.

The award, which has been in existence since 2007, is intended to recognize outstanding professional and academic achievements and special social commitment during training, and also focuses on personal development. It is endowed with 750 euros. Up to 20 of these prizes are awarded by the selection committee, which is made up of three trainers and one member each from the General Works Council and the General Youth and Trainee Representative Council.

The institutes also benefit

As part of the training awards, up to three training centers are also rewarded with an award if, for example, they implement innovative training concepts, offer cooperation with external partners or provide additional qualifications. This prize is endowed with 7500 euros each and must be earmarked for training.
