Perfect control of office and books
Research needs service: Every Max Planck Institute has an administration that performs organizational and commercial tasks and handles personnel matters for its employees. Furthermore, the majority of the institutes have their own library.
Here we offer numerous apprenticeships as
- Office management assistant
- Media and information services specialist.
In addition, individual apprenticeships can be completed as
- Healthcare clerk
- Administrative assistant
- Personnel services clerk.
In all training courses (except specialist in media and information services) you will learn to do bookkeeping, keep personnel files and prepare payroll accounting, write business letters and plan appointments. You will also be involved in drawing up budgets, processing payment transactions and coordinating materials management with incoming and outgoing goods.
The institute libraries hold specialist books and journals for their scientists. This is where you will work as a trainee media and information services specialist. You will procure media, record them on the computer, systematize them and maintain the library holdings. You will also carry out the work associated with lending.
