Curriculum Vitae
Born in Schwabach in 1961. Studied physics, doctorate from Freie Universität Berlin (1991), postdoctoral stays in Austin and Yorktown Heights, research assistant at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society and habilitation in experimental physics (1998), C4 professor of experimental physics at the Free University of Berlin (2000-2010), director and scientific member at the Fritz Haber Institute (since 2008), honorary professor at the Technical University of Berlin (since 2010). Martin Wolf received the Carl Ramsauer Prize from AEG and the Berlin Physical Society in 1991, and was awarded the Carl Scheel Prize in 1998. In 2005, he received the prize for outstanding commitment to education and teaching in the Department of Physics at the Free University of Berlin.
