At the end of 2016, the starting signal was given in Baden-Württemberg for Cyber Valley, one of Europe's largest research collaborations in the field of artificial intelligence. On the initiative of the Max Planck Society, the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, the state of Baden-Württemberg, the universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen, and numerous industry partners have joined forces to intensify research into intelligent systems for autonomous vehicles, for example, and to create a fertile environment for start-ups in this field.
