Born 1974 in Angers, France. Studied Biology, Master's Degree in Plant Genetics (1998) and PhD in Plant Biology (2001) at the University of Paris-Süd (Saclay). Postdoc at the School of Biosciences of the University of Birmingham (2002-2003) and Research Fellow (2003-2010) and Research Director (2010-2019) at the Jean-Pierre Bourgin Institute (INRA), Versailles. Since 2019 Director and Scientific Member of the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research.
