Summary
There is a multitude of reasons for valuation of Intellectual Property. Substantial disagreement exists with respect to the question how such a value finding process should be carried out. A project at the Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law aims at illuminating fundamental issues of Intellectual Property valuation, examining the suitability of Intellectual Property valuation models and developing alternative valuation approaches.
