Summary
Ultracold plasmas and Rydberg gases give rise to a number of interesting questions based on the unusual properties of these systems. Extremely low temperatures on the one hand, and high electronic excitation together with negligible translational excitation on the other, call for a symbiosis of ideas and concepts from different fields of physics.
