We are a research institute of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science. The Munich Center for the Economics of Aging (MEA) at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy studies, evaluates, anticipates and follows the micro- and macro­economic aspects of demographic change. We are currently searching for Interviewers  (f/m/d) for a survey on Afghan migrants in Germany

The survey asks migrants about their experiences, current living conditions and plans. Thereby we want to combat exclusion and inform policy decisions.

Your Duties

In your position you will be conducting interviews in Dari and/or Pashto using a computer-based survey. You will work in a team in interview centers in Hamburg or Berlin. All travel costs will be reimbursed. The working period will last for three months starting in September 2019 or later and is flexible in working hours/days.

Your Profile

  • Native speaking and writing abilities in Dari and/or Pashto
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and/or English
  • Motivation to contribute to migration research and better policy decisions
  • Preferably some interviewing experience but this is not mandatory
