The Max Planck Society offers gifted young scientists and researchers the possibility of independent scientific work through its Max Planck Research Groups. Selected group leaders receive their offer directly from the President of the MPS, and receive an own, secure budget to run their research program/research group at an institution of the Society.
If you want further information about the Max Planck Research Group Leader program and the selection procedure in general, we recommend visiting our FAQ page.
Currently, there are no announcements for centrally funded Max Planck Research Group Leader Positions, but individual institutes may publish announcements when openings become available. These will be published in major scientific journals and on the homepage of the individual institutes.
