Bilateral Initiation Workshops

These bilateral initiation workshops give scientists from Max Planck Institutes the opportunity to find out more about research potential in India, familiarise themselves with the research field locally, make contacts and set up networks.

The initiation workshops are held in India and are funded up to a maximum of € 25,000, which is intended in particular to cover the travel expenses for people from Max Planck Institutes taking part. Support for junior scientists should take precedence.
